Programme Structure

International Tourism Events Management joint master programme includes 90 ECTS to be delivered within three study semesters. There is a clear sequence based on logical accumulation principle to develop in-depth knowledge of the field and promote individual abilities for research.

ITEM study plan includes these principles and is physically embedded in two locations – first semester will be held in Klaipeda University, Lithuania, the second – in Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Latvia, and the third is on free choice depending from the sphere of interest and leader of the master thesis, and also from other considerations.

Programme content

The content and design of the study process is developed to incorporate the strength from the internationalization and to meet the expected high quality standards and objectives.

One of the key issues for the implementation of the study programme is based on the wide ICT integration in the teaching process. In combination with professional pedagogical skills and deep content knowledge that creates one of the distinctive features of a study program.
