In a fast changing Industry 4.0 technology environment, constant innovation in engineering and marine transportation is crucial. In choosing this course, you are embarking on a unique study programme combining both marine transport engineering and IT. In addition you will take specialisation modules in the field of Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding, giving you skills in ship design and digital innovations.
The main courses in the curriculum include Basics of ship design; Ship's hydro-aeromechanics; Marine Environmental Protection Technologies; Shipbuilding and Repair Technology; and Business and Engineering Project Management.
Specialisation: Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding
Reducing the environmental impact on shipping in accordance with the requirements of the IMO, and having the ability to harmonise the decisions taken in terms of their economic, social, and environmental impact. |

The course prepares students for work in the maritime industry, and for ship design and construction companies operating in the conditions of the global market. Suitable roles might include work as a constructor, ship architect, engineer, or project manager in shipbuilding design, construction and repair enterprises. |
